so, I got to wondering about various characters in the fandoms I follow and what they might wear for undies (if anything).

For example, what does Garak from DS9 wear?

What do purebloods in the Harry Potter fandom have for underwear? Is it undershirts and long pants? Something old fashioned? Like does Narcissa and McGonnagal have to wear corsets?

What do Bodie and Doyle wear under their clothes?

How about the Doctor from Dr. Who? Or his boyfriend Jack?

What do Denny Crane and Alan wear?

So, any fandom, any character(s), tell me what they do/do not wear as underwear.

LOL... I mean, yeah, I guess they have to have them unless they all go commando. I would also wonder where they *buy* their underwear.

I picture Garak wearing boxers. Something silky that feels good against his skin.

Denny looks like a commando man, or either a cotton boxer person.

HP fandom? Hmm.. Never really thought about it before. I can see McGonnagal wearing something old fashioned, just because of her age, though. I wonder if they can buy undergarments at the same place they buy their robes? lol *down plot bunny, down!*

Not sure about his lower body, but I'd bet it's some kind of long thermal underwear since he says that the temperature on DS9 is always too cold.

Well, I always assumed the old-fashioned variety in HP went starkers. After all, the bloke at the World Cup wanted to wear a nightgown for a "breeze around his privates". You wouldn't get that with robes if you wore anything underneath...I think anyone in Harry's generation or the one immediately before would probably wear muggle pants. If you follow the books on robes, they are closed and complete attire, and ergo, do not require anything underneath.
