Free Thought Costs A Dime

Lines intersect
   though they are parallel
The squared circle
   laughs mournfully
To go up
   you must go sideways
And there is no way over or through

No admittance
   so go on through
The way to get there
   is by going past here
But there is no here
   for it does not exist

Except in my mind
   which is missing
If found
please return to the first available operator
Press one to exit
do not stay on the line
For the line ends now
   or maybe later
Tune in tomorrow
   for less information

This is a great poem, qzee. You're getting better and better, in my opinion. Thank you for sharing.

I liked this very much, but my favourite part has to be the last section. That worked especially well.

"'Up is down'? Well, that's just maddeningly unhelpful."

it is, but it is also true. At least in Alice's mirror universe.
